Welcome to St. Ann’s Youth Ministry:
EDGE–We meet on Wednesdays from 6:00-7:30 in the St. Ann’s Youth Activity Center. All 6th, 7th, and 8th graders are welcome to join. It’s great religious formation in a dynamic environment and small groups. Snacks are provided weekly by parents. A calendar is available in the download section. Click here to register: EDGE REGISTRATION.
Life Teen – We meet on Sundays beginning at 6:00pm with Mass in the Church. Mass is followed by dinner and Life Night in the Youth Acivity Center. Life Teen is part of the two year preparation for Confirmation, usually 9th & 10th grades. A calendar is available in the download section. Please turn this LIFE TEEN REGISTRATION to the parish office to register.
Super Sundays – Five afternoon classes for those who will be celebrating Confirmation this year (those in 2nd year Confirmation preparation: typically 10th grade). Candidate and Sponsors attend together. A calendar is available in the download section under LIFETEEN YEAR 2. (Please see below for more on guidelines for Confirmation**).
Peer Ministry – We meet on Tuesday evenings at 6:30pm in the Youth Activity Center. Peer Ministry is for all High School students who have celebrated Confirmation. We have fellowship, food, Bible study, and prepare for LifeTeen together. If you’d like to join us, contact Perla at the Parish Office.
We also host:
High School Lunch – On Mondays during the school year from 11am-1pm, we offer $5 lunch (pizza, chips, drink, and dessert) for High School students. We meet in the Youth Activity Center and all High School students are welcome!
Senior Sunday – High School Class of 2022: be attentive to our bulletin and announcements for Senior Sunday in mid-May! We will honor you at the 10:45 Mass, followed by a reception in the Commons.
Steubenville Youth Conference – More details, as well as registration information, will be coming soon. This is a conference has at least 3,500 High School students in attendance, amazing music, powerful speakers; truly a way to have a powerful experience! Highly Recommended.
Teen ACTS Retreat – The goal of the retreat is to allow teens an opportunity to focus on their faith and its application to their daily life, build purpose in the prayer life, increase their presence at the liturgy, and cultivate friendship among other members of their Church community. The retreat is open to those currently in High School.
**Confirmation Guidelines – Confirmation preparation is a two-year process, typically beginning in 9th grade and Confirmation being celebrated towards the end of the candidate’s 10th grade year. All candidates (first and second year) must: attend at least 75% of the Life Nights and complete 16 hours of community service each year (half of which must be completed through St. Ann’s). Second year candidates must also attend a Catholic Confirmation retreat ( in March) and 75% of the Super Sunday classes. For more information, contact the Parish Office.
