“The Mass Readings Explained” Please join us as we further our understanding of Catholic teachings and scripture and deepen our weekend Mass experience while we explore the upcoming Sunday readings. We begin with a 25 minute video by Dr. Brant Pitre followed by group discussion. Questions the video addresses include:
1. Why does the Church choose that week’s particular scripture readings?
2. What is the relationship between the Old and New Testament readings?
3. How would the 1st century Christians have understood these scriptures?
4. How do we apply these understandings in today’s culture?

The young adults group meets on Wednesdays at 6:30pm in the St. Joachim House (1808 Illinois). Contact Clay or Brittany Roberts with any questions at 806-676-3618 or roberts4604@gmail.com. Nursery is Available.
