March 25, 2020 Feast of the Annunciation
Even at this time when we cannot get together for Mass, we desire to connect with each other. So please accept this letter as a sign of reaching out to you and your family. Here at St. Ann’s we are very concerned about each person and pray that God will bless and protect you.
We are trying to provide pastoral care by offering Masses, live streamed each day on Facebook and/or Vimeo. We do offer Confessions in the Prayer Garden of the Mary Center/parlor on Wednesdays at 5:00pm and Saturdays at 4:00pm (in the Commons if the weather is bad). A group of volunteers is making “Care Calls” to our parishioners over 60, to connect with them and respond to any needs that we can. St. Ann’s School is providing on-line study and staying connected with students.
You can access St. Ann’s weekly bulletin at our website (stannsparish.us) or on My Parish App. There will be no printed paper copies available.
What about Holy Week and Easter? We are making plans for having services on the important days, which will be live streamed. Watch for our announcements on social media as the time grows closer.
Without the weekly offertory collection, we will soon be strapped for cash at the parish. May I suggest that you can mail your contributions by regular mail to 1906 W. Texas, Midland 79701? Or you can use electronic avenues (text, credit card, on-line giving, automatic bank drafts); just call our Parish Office during the morning hours at 432-682-6303 and ask for the accountant. Or go to the website and follow the prompts on the giving tab. We appreciate your generous support!
Above all, let us love God and love one another! He is a merciful God and will get us through these trying times together!
Sincerely yours in Christ,
